Dr. Gutierrez’s Approach
Everyone has good days and bad; days that feel like we’re on top of the world and others where we seem to trip on every crack in the sidewalk. These ups and downs are normal. Sometimes, however, we experience a nagging awareness that we are not feeling like our usual selves, and it’s more than just a bad day (or week). When these feelings are not addressed our mental health suffers. Like many medical conditions or illnesses, untreated mental health conditions can negatively affect your mood, wellbeing, quality of life as well as your ability to work or do the things that bring you joy. However, unlike physical health issues, mental health conditions can wreak havoc on your personal life, negatively impact
your relationships, and can even affect your family and loved ones if left untreated.
Dr. Gutierrez specializes in the evaluation and treatment of mental health disorders and is passionate about working with patients to formulate the most effective treatment plan and assist them in their journey towards feeling better and achieving their full potential.
